Busy Saturday for West Norriton
February 24
Around 8:15 am, Squad 46 was dispatched to assist Norristown Fire Department on a Helicopter Landing. While Deputy 46 and Squad 46 were in Norristown, Quint 46 was dispatched to assist Upper Merion Fire & EMS on a working building fire. Commercial Building Fire
February 11
At approximately 9:30 pm Quint 46 was dispatched to assist station 61 on a Commercial building fire on Germantown Pike. Shortly after dispatch the working fire dispatch was requested. Quint 46 and Assistant 46 responded with a crew of 4 and arrived as 2nd due truck, where they were assigned ventilation. The company returned to service just after 12:30 am.... (Full Story & Photos)

Working Building Fire
Jefferson Fire Co. 1, January 29
Station 46 was alerted for a building fire at the 1000 block of N Montgomery Ave, around 2:30 pm. Captain 61-2 arrived first with smoke and fire showing and the working fire dispatch was then transmitted bringing mutual aid companies. Assistant 46 arrived and held command of the incident. Crews from Quint 46 and Quint 27 worked together to extinguish the fire.
